We started out our celebrating by going to an expat Halloween party at our friends Cheryl and Willow's house on Friday.
Chicken Mackenzie, Chelsea Footballer Alexander, and his mom Elizabeth dressed as his dad, enjoying the slide at the party.
Snack time! Unicorn got to come to the party too.
We had to leave a bit early to be home in time for the best Halloween treat of all, Grandpa Rocky and Grandma Mel and Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Randy's arrival.
They got in on the festivities by helping make our treats to bring to Saturday's party.
Mac in her knickers helping mom make cupcakes. Don't tell the health department.
Grandpa and Mac decorating clementines as pumpkins. Auntie Joann finished them later.
Aren't they cute?
Decorating, or eating in Mac's case, the spider cupcakes.
A couple of the finished product. Mac's 'rasta spider' is on the left. She said she made it extra scary for her unicorn.
On Saturday afternoon we went to a Fancy Dress party and had lots of fun eating yummy snacks, making spider crafts,
being silly with friends and TRICK-OR-TREATING!
Mac and mom walking the halls for treats. (Mac had to take off the top to her chicken costume because it was too hot. And I had to take off my bat mask because I was scaring the children.)
Waiting her turn for a treat.
Taking a break to pose with one of her best buds, Chloe.
Dad buttering her up for a treat, perhaps? No need, she was more than willing to share. And was not interested in the quantity this year. After just a couple of flats she asked if she could be done and start enjoying the candy.
Hope your Halloween was Spooktacular!
